Registrar鈥檚 Office Message to Students

Students indicate their intention to participate in the Commencement ceremony when they file their Intent to Graduate Form with the Registrar鈥檚 Office. Intent to Graduate Forms should be submitted in accordance with College guidelines, but no later than one term prior to Commencement. Late submissions may not be accommodated.

Eligibility to Graduate

You must fill out and submit your Intent to Graduate Form. It can be found on the Registrar鈥檚 webpage. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your eligibility to graduate, please contact the Registrar鈥檚 Office at registrarsoffice@nec.edu, or Student Financial Services at sfs@nec.edu.

Students who wish to have their name in the Commencement program must have their intent to graduate filed by April 1.

Students may only participate in the Commencement ceremony if their month of graduation falls between July 2025 and May 2026. Students within 12 credits of completing their degree program as of the date of the May ceremony may also attend. Students may only attend one ceremony.聽 Commencement eligibility will be determined by the Registrar鈥檚 Office.

If your anticipated graduation date changes, you must notify the Registrar鈥檚 Office by emailing registrarsoffice@nec.edu.

Student Financial Services Reminder to Students

Please clear any account holds. Outstanding balances must be paid in full. Federal loan borrowers, you must complete mandatory loan exit counseling at .

Regalia

Regalia is available for purchase now until March 15, 2026. During checkout, you may choose to have your regalia shipped directly to your home address or shipped to New England College. Please note that all regalia orders ship only after the ordering window closes.

If you choose to have regalia shipped to New England College, you will still be required to enter a home shipping address as a contingency. New England College will absorb the shipping costs for orders delivered to campus. Information regarding pick-up of regalia prior to the 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be shared at a later date.

Please remember that ordering regalia does not guarantee eligibility to participate in the Commencement ceremony. For questions regarding eligibility, please contact the Registrar鈥檚 office at 603.428.2203.

New England College Celebrates the Class of 2025

The College celebrated the graduation of over 1,300 students for the 2024鈥�2025 academic year and hosted CNN anchor Dana Bash.

New England College (黑料短视频) held its 78th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 2, on the Simon Lawn in Henniker and celebrated the achievements of the class of 2025, including the first graduates from 黑料短视频鈥檚 three-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Throughout the 2024鈥�2025 academic year, approximately 1,349 students graduated from 黑料短视频鈥檚 on-campus and online undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.

鈥淲e pride ourselves on meeting students where they are upon arrival at 黑料短视频 and accompanying them on their academic journeys,鈥� stated Dr. Wayne F. Lesperance, Jr., President of New England College. 鈥淭hese graduates leave our campus full of promise and just in time. Their communities, countries, and the world need new ideas, dedication, and commitment to the common good鈥攙alues celebrated at 黑料短视频. Our graduates are the answer to the challenges we face; may they heed the call to make a difference in the world.鈥�

Graduates, their families and friends, and 黑料短视频 guests heard from CNN Anchor and Chief Political Correspondent Dana Bash, who served as Commencement speaker. Ms. Bash received an honorary doctorate from 黑料短视频 during the ceremony.

鈥淭here is a whole world out there for each of you that you can鈥檛 even fathom right now,鈥� Ms. Bash told graduates. 鈥淭ake advantage. Be excited about it. Push yourself out of that comfort zone. You will be better off, and as a consequence, so will the rest of us.鈥�

CNN Anchor Dana Bash Delivers Commencement Address to New England College 2025 Graduating Class

CNN Anchor and Chief Political Correspondent has been named the Commencement speaker for New England College鈥檚 2025 graduation ceremony on May 3. In addition, the New England College Board of Trustees has authorized the awarding of the Doctor of Humane Letters honoris causa to Bash in recognition of her achievements.

As CNN鈥檚 chief political correspondent since 2015, Bash plays an instrumental role in CNN鈥檚 coverage of American politics. In addition to her role as anchor of Inside Politics with Dana Bash and State of the Union with Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, she has launched two CNN series: 叠别颈苍驳鈥�, which shows viewers the human beings behind the public faces of those affecting American politics and culture, and Badass Women of Washington, featuring women across the spectrum of life who have shattered the glass ceiling. In 2019, Bash won the National Press Foundation鈥檚 Sol Taishoff Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism.
